I bought the PS3 version and was very, very disappointed with the graphics (I’ve heard the PC version is much better in that regard). I really wanted to get into it because it was Bioware, but I think that the Sword & Sorcery fantasy genre just isn’t my thing =T
I can’t imagine playing DA:O with a controller. I have a friend who owns both the 360 version and the PC version, and he hated playing it on the 360 but think it’s like the best game for PC. In my opinion, gameplay mechanics are top-notch for that sort of RPG with a mouse and keyboard. And yeah, the graphics…aren’t great, even on PC, but I think the gameplay and writing make up for that by longshot.
I can also understand if it’s just not the kind of game you like though. Hell, I gave The Witcher 2 a shot and couldn’t really get through it (despite the accolades it gets) cause I disliked the controls. To each their own they say.
Hey, Jake. I’m still planning to post up new comics, eventually. Book 2 encompasses chapters 10 through 15, and will be released later in the year. The current hiatus is just to buy me a little time to finish Book 3. The printed editions will include additional material though, so hopefully that’ll pique your interest.
If anyone is interested in watching the video of my comic panel, here’s the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nwS454f2PA&feature=youtu.be
Enjoy!
I thought DA:O had a disappointingly bland story, but I loved it anyway for the characters and the mechanics. Haven’t played the sequel.

And yet, it certainly is BioWare’s thing. Mass Effect was a bit of a departure for them.
That’s what I’ve heard. I just need things to shoot in my games =P

hey I was just wondering, do we have to buy your books to get the newest comics? or will you still put them up here?
